Looking for something different to do? Then why not do your Duke of Edinburgh Award with us, the Three Towns DofE Group. New members are always welcome.

Our group involves a choice of lots of fun activities from ultimate frisbee, dancing and guitar lessons to volunteering, orienteering and camping.

We meet every Wednesday night at Auchenharvie Academy at 7 o’clock. We welcome any young person aged 14 to 25, all we ask is that you take the challenge!  Why not come along and find out more.

What does DofE involve?

There are three levels which you can work through:

•Bronze (for those aged 14 and over)

•Silver (for those aged 15 and over) and

•Gold (for those aged 16 and over).

On each level there are four sections.  These are:

•Volunteering (helping other people in the local community)

•Expedition (training for, planning and completing a journey on foot, horseback, by boat or cycle)

•Skills (covering almost any hobby, skill or interest)

•Physical (sport, dance and fitness)

At Gold there is a fifth section:

•Residential Project
